Broken Wall in Jati Padang is Being Handled

South Jakarta Water Resources Sub-agency's Blue Taskforce personnel handle collapsed wall on Jalan Masjid Al-Ridwan, RT 03/06, Jati Padang Urban Village, Pasar Minggu District.

Thanks to the quick handling

Sub-agency's Drainage Maintenance Coordinator, Wiwid Mugiono explained a 15 meter long wall collapsed due to the overflow of the Pulo River on Sunday (7/6) at around 4 PM.

"As the water receded, we directly handle the wall," he explained, Monday (7/7).

40 RTs in Jakarta Reportedly Still Inundated

He added that 30 personnel are deployed to handle the collapsed wall by using dolken wood and sacks of sand.

"We conduct the emergency handle and it is targeted to complete in three days. It will be repaired fully, but we need to cooperate with Jakarta Water Resources Agency," he added.

Meanwhile, RW 06 Head, Abdul Kohar thanked the Sub-agency for handling the broken wall immediately.

"The broken wall inundated 10 RTs. Thanks to the quick handling that made the water receded quickly," he stated.
